Make Up and Hair Styling

"When I became a wedding photographer, my passion for wedding makeup and hair reared it's head! I absolutely love making up faces and seeing the bridal party glow with excitement as they prepare for the big day ahead! It made sense to be able to create the 'total look' for Bride's on their most special day and I specialise in smaller and 'Just us' weddings, where I provide makeup, hair and photography. It is a great way to get to know me before I pick up my camera, and the results are relaxed, natural photographs, bringing your vision to life!"

Wedding Make up

My love for make up, began when I was 17 years old and I was a fashion and catwalk model. I used to love applying makeup for the other models and producing dramatic effects for catwalk and photographic shoots. I have trained with Manchester school of Makeup and found their knowledge invaluable.

I am also able to apply your make up, if you book an engagement/ pre wedding shoot, before you go in front of the camera !

Are there special ways to apply makeup for the camera? -Yes there are certain aspects of makeup application which need to be considered such as type of lighting to be used and daylight conditions on the day of your wedding. As a photographer, I am aware of problems which can arise if the makeup is not 'tweaked' to the lighting conditions.

Wedding Hair 

For smaller weddings, I love to be able to create your whole vision of makeup and hair and then capture it beautifully on camera. Having trained with Pam Wrigley, who is recognised both Nationally and Internationally for her up-to-date hair styling techniques and styles, I am able to work with you to create ideas at your trial appointment ready for your finished look on the big day.
