My approach to weddings  

As a Lake District wedding photographer,I love everything to do with weddings, from my first contact with an excited Bride, who has so many things to plan, through to the wonderful day and follow up afterwards, designing and creating a beautiful wedding album for the Bride and Groom which we are all proud of and will hold treasured memories for the rest of their lives. Being involved in someone's wedding is one of the best jobs in the world and I feel truly privileged to be part of the day. I am versatile in my photography styles and it is important for me  to discuss with you, your expectations and the results you would like -no two weddings are the same and I want to know all about your wedding, what excites you about it and to allow me to see the day through your eyes so I can document your day as you wish to remember it. As an experienced wedding photographer with over 25 years  in the business,  I have gained a wealth of knowledge and have photographed at most of the beautiful venues within The Lake District and also have found some beautiful venues in my next county, as a Lancashire wedding photographer. If you have any questions, please do contact me by email or telephone and I will be very happy to discuss your day- I look forward to hearing from you!

 

 

Your wedding photography is going to be one of the most important decisions you make for your special day- You are not just buying images and a couple of hours of 'snapping' time, but investing in the experience, effort and skill of your wedding photographer. Not just on the day but also in the planning, ideas, concept and getting to know your photographer so you can feel totally comfortable and at ease on the day. After your wonderful day has come to an end, you can rest assured knowing that I am working on the next stage of your images which is post production. Every single image is enhanced,  cropped and details highlighted , so I can present you with a wonderful collection of images to keep forever. I have received 1-1 training in professional editing from one of the leading editors in the UK and understand the importance of not only capturing the moments but also how to enhance each image for a superior, finished result.

 

What will it cost?

Because your photography package is completely unique for you, prices do vary as packages are carefully put together with products chosen to suit your needs but as a guide,

Prices for  coverage up to the first dance for Saturday or Sunday weddings are  from £1400.00 

Please contact me for a bespoke price if you are having a smaller or midweek wedding party.

All packages include your images as digital downloads at high resolution plus a password protected online gallery for family and friends to view and download. 

 

Elopement weddings  

Just Bride and Groom midweek weddings are becoming ever more popular. Most of my elopement wedding couples take advantage of the complete package of Makeup, hair, photography and accessories.

Think of me as your  personal assistant for the morning. As you will be spending time on your own on the morning of your wedding, my bride's love the fact that I am there to help them every step of the way. The morning starts by applying your makeup, styling your hair and helping you with your dress and accessories. I will make sure you are on time, without feeling rushed or stressed. After the ceremony, we spend a relaxing hour photographing at the venue, to capture a beautiful record of your special day. Please contact me for your bespoke requirements.

After the wedding, I have a wide range of display products to showcase your favourite images. You will automatically receive your edited images as digital downloads at high resolution. Also available to purchase, are presentation boxes, USB's, photograph collections, albums, wall displays and 'Thank you' cards.                                                                                                         

All albums are designed by myself from your selection of images and the design is then emailed to you to approve for printing.

There are a large selection of cover styles available which can also be viewed online to make your choice. Your finished album is presented to you as a personal, printed book. All details will be sent to you after the wedding to help you with your selections.
